I will always remember G for being such a thoughtful, funny and kind man. During the years of Driving Custard/Star Scream tour bus he was always the support network for all of us, He told jokes, He took the pee out of us (in a good way) and was just that comfort to all of us.
One of many memories i have of him is when we were on our way to a Star Scream gig in Brighton, i believe they were playing with Amen, Me and Gerry got talking about Tottenham and i told him i used to support them growing up but i havent followed them in years…. He looked at me with a dead straight face and said “You never give up on Tottenham, Come on you spurs” and i laughed and said your right ill give them another chance, You had to have been there in that moment because he was so funny. He was so passionate about Tottenham, Adam’s Bands, Music, Tracey and his whole family life.
It truly is so unfair for such a light of life being extinguished so suddenly.
You were always one of us Gerry, and you always will be, The lesson i will take with me that you have taught me is to be supportive of my Son no matter what he is into and to treat every day like a gift and to make others around me laugh.
We love you, and Will miss you greatly.
